Overview
Ghorepani Poonhill trekking is very popular trekking in Nepal, is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that goes through the beautiful ethnic villages of Annapurna Region. Invigorating through some rhododendron forests, Poonhill, a hill top which is popularly known as the Photographer's Paradise, you can capture some of the best snaps of impressive Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Poonhill offers you the striking panorama of huge Himalayas including Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, III, and IV, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, Gangapurna, and Manaslu ranges among few others. 
In addition to that, Poon Hill Trekking will also let you witness terraced slopes, warm villages, beautiful paddy fields, and wonderful culture and lifestyle of ethnic people like Gurungs, and Magars. Ghorepani and Ghandruk are two of the largest Gurung settlements in the Annapurna Region.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m) and transfer to hotel
Our representative picks up from Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. If time permits walk around the city in the afternoon or evening.
Day 02: A day for sightseeing in Kathmandu/ trek prepairation
We can decide wether we will do sightseeing in Kathmandu or take a rest and do the preparation for next days trek. Evening our office representative brief about the trip and we will have dinner  together.

Day 03: Flight or Drive to Pokhara, take a 25 minutes flight or 6-7 hour drive
After having your breakfast, we will drive you to the Domestic Airport to take a 25 minutes flight to Pokhara. During the short flight, you will have majestic views of glorious Manaslu Peaks, the snowcapped Annapurna, and Langtang Himalaya range. Alternatively, you can take a  scenic drive to Pokhara by private car. After reaching Pokhara, we will have free time roaming around Lake side.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul(1070/3511ft) Trek to Tirkhedhunga (150m/5053ft),5/6hrs
After breakfast, your journey to Ghorepani Poon Hill trek begins. We will drive to Nayapul for about an hour from Pokhara. The trek starts from here, dropping at first on a staircase and then traversing high above the river on a wide, stone-paved trail to a large and prosperous town Birethanti (1000m). The trekking trail today follows winding bamboo forests and waterfalls. After walking some hours we will have a lunch. After lunch climb up to Hille (1510m). We will arrive at Tikhedunga after see walk.

Day 05:  Tikhedunga trek to Ghorepani (2775m) walking distance 4-6 hours
After breakfast we will crosses suspension bridge, then drops and crosses the Bhurungdi Khola on a large bridge. The trail ascends on a long stone staircase continues to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080m). From Ulleri the trail gently climbs through pastures and cultivated fields. You walk up beside the cascading river through refreshingly cool oak and Rhododendron forest till Nanga thanti village. After about one hour walk from Nanga thanti we will reached Ghorepani.

Day 06: Trek Ghorepani to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2540m) 5-6 hours
We will wakeup early morning around 4 am and trek to Poon Hill (3210m), one of the best Himalaya viewpoints in Nepal, provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. We will see the best view of  Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiuchhuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). Gangapurna (7454m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre 6997m). We will back to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, our trek to Tadapani starts. We will have overnight in Tadapani.

Day 07: Tadapani Trek to Ghandhruk (1940m) 3-4 hours
After breakfast we will descends steeply through rhododendron forests to Baise Kharka. We will encounter with monkeys and varieties of birds. We may walk around  2 more hours to reach Ghandruk, which is is the second largest Gurung Setlememt in Annapurna region. we will enjoy  themountain view of Annapurna South and Fishtai from there.

Day 08: Ghandhruk Trek to Birethanti (1065m) and drive to Pokhara 3-5 hours
After breakfast in Ghorepani, we will gradually decline down to the village. The trail passes through small hamlets, terraced rice fields and subtropical forests giving a very beautiful glimpse. We will mostly follow the ever-flowing Modi Khola with an easy and pleasant walk to Birethanti. The trail makes a flat- steep descent alongside to the stream. The descent becomes more gentle as the route reaches Banthanthi. We continue our walk to Nayapul and catch a vehicle to get to Pokhara.

Day 09: Pokhara to Kathmandu, Take a 25 minutes flight or 6/7 hour Drive
You can take a fight or take a drive to Kathmandu. In the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying the farewell dinner with cultural show.

Day 10: Final Departure from Kathmandu
Our representative will pick up from hotel and transfer to Airport for the onwards flight.
