Overview

Upon arrival in Nepal you need to stay few days in Kathmandu for visas preparation and your time will be utilized visiting the great open museum (the amazing Kathmandu valley).

Then you will depart for Lhasa on China South-West Airlines with the great views of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest, third highest mountain, Kangchenjunga and more. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Hotel in the Lhasa for three nights stay which will help you to acclimatize for your grand tour to this inaccessible land.

Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 01:Transfer to Kathmandu Airport for flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival you will be met by our Tibetan agent and transferred to the Hotel

  • Day 02-03:Sightseeing tours in Lhasa (Potala palace, Sera Monastery, Jokhang temple and Bakhor street, Drepung Monastery)

  • Day 04:Drive to Shigatse (approximately 4-5 hours) following the Lhasa River. Afternoon visit the Tashilumpo Monastery. Overnight at Shigatse Hotel.

  • Day 05:Drive to Kharta, you leave the highway and drive close to Kharta where your trekking crews will set the first camp. The magnificent views of Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Everest is expected from the camp.

  • Day 06:Trekking (4-5 hr) towards the mountain ranges. You will see the magnificent views of Makalu and Everest, overnight camp.

  • Day 07:Trek to Tangmoche-4350m (4-5 hr)

  • Day 08:Trek to Sagar- approximately 4800m (4-5 hr)

  • Day 09:Trek to Pola Valley- 4500m via Doya Ri- 5300m (7-8 hr)

  • Day 10:Trek for about 3 hour and drive to Everest base camp-5150m, overnight camp

  • Day 11:Excursion to the Rongbuk glacier for the magnificent view of Mt. Everest, return to BC for overnight camp.

  • Day 12:Drive about 150 km to the Cho Oyu base camp, overnight camp at camp-4900m

  • Day 13:Excursion to Cho Oyu base camp (approx. 5 hr)

  • Day 14:Trekking back to Driver Camp and drive to Zhangmu, overnight at hotel

  • Day 15:Clearing the Chinese customs, travel down to the Friendship Bridge where you re-enter Nepal and after completing the immigration formalities drive to Kathmandu (4-5 hr) and tour ends.

  • Airport - hotel -airport pickup and drop by private vehicle in Kathmandu.

  • Two nights’ hotel in Pokhara on BB plan as per category.
  • Meals on full board (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) during trekking period.

  • Annapurna area Trekking map, one in a group.
  • An experienced Government license holder guide.
  • Trekking porter /Sherpa to carry your bags during the trekking 2:1, max 20 KG baggage/porter.
  • Food, drinks, accommodation, insurance, salary, equipments, transportation, local tax for Guide and porters.
  • Ground transportation by tourist coach from Kathmandu to Pokhara and VV and by private vehicle from Pokhara to trekking starting point and back.
  • Group medical supplies (first aid kit will be available) if required.
  • All necessary paper works and Annapurna conservation entry permits (ACAP fees).
