Dorje Lakpa (6990m) is located at the solid mass of Jugal Himal located at east of the Langtang Valley and south of Mt. Shishapangma in Tibet. A good technique in Ice climbing

  • Dorje Lakpa (6990m) is located at the solid mass of Jugal Himal located at east of the Langtang Valley and south of Mt. Shishapangma in Tibet. A good technique in Ice climbing is essential to climb this mountain.The people who have the good technical climbing skill can easily achieve the goal.

    Camp I will be at an altitude 5400m and is well sheltered. Camp II will be at an altitude 6100m, which does not exceed 40′ and is visible from the Base Camp. As per the condition of the climate during climbing, we may place a safety camp between summit and camp II. After the summit, we will disassemble the high camps and return by the same route.

    Day 02: A free day in Kathmandu for necessery prepairation of trek/climb
    Day 03: A free day in Kathmandu, briefing in Department of Tourism
    Day 04: Kathmandu – Syabrubensi (1462m) by Bus and overnight in Lodge
    Day 05: Syabrubensi – Lama Hotel
    Day 06: Lama Hotel – Langtang Village
    Day 07: Langtang village – Kyangjin Gompa
    Day 08: Kyangjing Gompa – Kharka overnight in camp
    Day 09: Kharka – Dorje Lakpa Base Camp
    Day 10 – 27: Climbing Period of Dorje Lakpa (6990m)
    Day 28: Base Camp – Kharka
    Day 29: Kharka – Langtang Village
    Day 30: Langtang Village – Lama Hotel
    Day 31: Lama Hotel – Syabrubensi
    Day 32: Transfer to Kathmandu by Bus, overnight at Hotel
    Day 33: A free day in Kathmandu
    Day 34: A free day in Kathmandu
    Day 35: Transfer to Airport for the flight back

    I made it home safely and even was upgraded to business class for the first part of my flights home from Kathmandu to Abu Dhabi. Which was great.

    I would like to thank you for organising everything whilst I was in Nepal. You are certainly Mr FixIt when it comes to sorting out itineraries, hotels, guides, flights, buses, etc.This made my trip run very smoothly without any hitch. I will pass on you details to anyone I know who is looking to travel to Nepal.

    I also saw Ben a couple of days ago, he’s fine. He and Kate are expecting their 2nd child next year which is great news, he is really missing Nepal and we are talking about coming back.

    Do you have a postal address for Yala Adventure that I can courier some equipment for Pasang to. I have spoken to a few friends at some uk outdoor equipment distributors and have managed to get a pair of boots for him, free of charge which I would like to send over.
