Pumori Expedition
(7145m)
Pumori (7,145 m) is one of the easiest peaks among 7,000
m. peaks in Nepal. It has relatively less technical
climbing and gorges. But the difficulty depends upon the
weather condition of the climbing period. The route
keeps on changing due to avalanches and crevasses. The
best month for climbing is May. The Mt. Pumori Base camp
can be reached Kathmandu – Lukla flight and trekking via
Namche Bazaar, Thyangboche – Pheriche and Lobuche. Mt.
Pumori is 7145m. high and ascent starts at 5,300m.
