Why Yala Adventure?

We arrange treks for families, small groups of friends, school / college groups and larger parties organized by clubs or travel agents. The treks last from seven days to a month or more. Although special short trips can be arranged, it is only on a journey of at least two weeks that the traveler can truly appreciate the splendors of Nepal. Treks are designed to meet the wishes of clients which may range in difficulty from easy, moderate, high altitudes and high pass crossings.



 

Year 2011 wraps up with Sustained Tourism Growth in Nepal

The year 2011 has concluded with positive notes both in terms of total visitor arrivals for the month of December and also for the whole year. The figures released by Immigration Office, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) reveal that visitor arrivals in the month of December 2011, compared to the same month last year, have increased by 20.4% to 43,721. Also, the total number of visitor arrivals in aggregate (Jan-Dec, 2011), compared to same period in 2010, have increased by 21.4% to 544,985. Nepal received 96,216 more visitors in same period (Jan-Dec) of 2010.

Our journey begins with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla in the heart of the Khumbu Region. There follows a fairly easy day of around three hours to our first stop Phakding. We continue North up the Dudh Kosi Valley to Namche Bazaar, quite a hard day, where we spend a day acclimatizing, good food and accommodation.

Mustang refers to the arid Tibet-like region at the Northern end of the Kali Gandaki, lying beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Mustang is the land of barley fields, pastures for grazing herds. Upper Mustang consists of two distinct regions the southern region with five villages inhabited by people related to the Manangis and the northern region where the language culture and traditions are almost purely Tibetan.

You will  fly to Lhasa, where you spend two days for sightseeing tour. After Lhasa, we take a Jeep tour to Everest Base Camp via Gyantse and Shigatse, which are the most highlighted places in Tibet.
